Bank of Baroda (BOB) has released the Local Bank Officer (LBO) Recruitment 2026 notification for 2,482 vacancies. The recruitment is being conducted for Local Bank Officer posts in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMG/S-I). Eligible candidates can submit their applications online from August 18, 2026, to September 7, 2026.
The recruitment is open across 20 states/UTs, with vacancies distributed according to state and local language requirements. Candidates can apply for only one state, so applicants should carefully check the vacancies and language eligibility before submitting the form.
📚 Educational Qualification and Experience
🎓 Candidates applying for the BOB LBO post must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
💼 In addition, applicants must have at least one year of post-qualification experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank.
🗣️ Candidates must also be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the local language of the state selected for recruitment.

💰 General, EWS and OBC candidates need to pay ₹850, including GST, along with applicable payment gateway charges.
🎫 SC, ST, PwBD, ESM/DESM and women candidates need to pay ₹175, including GST, plus applicable payment gateway charges.
